One of my goals with a site redesign, was not just to make it look different, but also to change how I interact with my site. What Do I Need?
Every website must have 3 things: 1) Domain Name 2) Web Server Space 3) Website Files/HTML
Domain name is the name of your website, such as mayfieldwebdesign.com. This is also called a URL or Universally Registered Location. You can purchase this at a registrar like Go Daddy, they are usually less than $10 a year, but nowadays, most Web Hosting companies will do the domain name registration when you sign up for your web server space as well.
