So, from now on, I will have a "business blog" on the front page instead of just some static content, or images. I will attempt to keep this space updated with current goings on in the MWD world and integrate with my facebook page more. So in that vein, here is the latest MWD news:
For some people, dipping your toes in the world of Web Design can be a little scary. Some folks still dont really know what all is involved in creating a website, so lets start there.
What Do I Need?
Every website must have 3 things: 1) Domain Name 2) Web Server Space 3) Website Files/HTML
Domain name is the name of your website, such as mayfieldwebdesign.com. This is also called a URL or Universally Registered Location. You can purchase this at a registrar like Go Daddy, they are usually less than $10 a year, but nowadays, most Web Hosting companies will do the domain name registration when you sign up for your web server space as well.
